Do I Need Deliverance?

People are often intrigued with the idea of deliverance.  What is it?  How does it work?  Why do I need it?  Many Christians believe they are untouchable by the enemy because they are filled with the Holy Spirit.  This, simply, is not true.

Have you read the New Testament?  Jesus started casting out demons in the synagogues!!

The good news is every believer can go through deliverance & healing ministry to be set free.

As we gather information, it is often apparent that one or more issues have been pervasive in someone’s life. These have often limited their spiritual, emotional and relational growth. These issues can be defined as spiritual strongholds or oppression.

What are some indicators or evidences of potential strongholds?

• Have you had repeated prayer, ministry and/or counsel for one or more issues in your life and have had limited and short-term freedom at best?
• Have you been crying out to God for change in a certain area of your life?
• Are there behaviors that you cannot control?
• Have you tried medications/alternative therapies without success?

People can have strongholds of pride, fear, anxiety, depression,  anger,  lust, pornography and more. They function like chains, to keep people in bondage and not truly walking in the full freedom Jesus has for them.
